On Mayan 2012 Prediction
As we approach 2012 Toronto Astrologer Victor Fletcher makes comments On the Mayan 2012 and Hopi predictions for the same year there is a lot in the form of astrology and observation I work on that correlates to their ideas.
Right now is a time to be studying this as Pluto is situated between us and the Galactic Centre where the black holes of our Milky Way Galaxy exist. Pluto acts as a booster on the information that comes to us from the Galactic Centre. It also acts as a lens to colour our feelings. Contrary to common understanding the Black Holes do not absorb everything including light -- Cosmologist Stephen Hawking lost a bet on this one (and I was betting against him) -- Black Holes do emit gamma rays and radio transmissions.
Galactic Centre 'static' interference was established by Germany's Max Planck Institute in the early 1920s when low-powered commercial radio stations appeared. They suffered 'static' interference on a daily basis which correlated exactly to the 'rising' of the Galactic Centre and its 'black holes' daily.
It is the first place I look on a chart to see where planets in a person's chart or corporation or entity relate to the GC. Especially to see if I was dealing with a psychic which is the case for many people born December 19 when the Sun is between us and the Galactic Centre. Rasputin the 'mad' monk had Neptune the planet of Mesmer 'mesmserized' the Czar's child into stopping his bleeding when it was in 27 degrees Aries aspecting that 27 Degree Sagittarius exactly and in positive trine aspect. Unfortunately, when a politician's chart has many planets in aspect to 27 degrees they can also be evil characters and President Nixon always made comebacks; also bomb wing 519th that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima was created December 10 as well.
It is interesting that the writer Dante of Dante's Inferno (visions of hell) was born when this last happened hundreds of years ago. It appeared to "colour" his view of the world.
Pluto moves very slowly and transits and retrogrades over the same spot for the next couple of years -- then, by 2012 it has moved on to the early degrees of the first "decanate" (ten degrees of 30) of Capricorn which rules major business affairs.
On 911 the faster moving planet Mars (two year orbit) went through this pattern and I was looking for an event of some import to occur; during Mars transit through Sagittarius it also conjuncted the theoretical point in the sky called the South Node (a point I look for to see disaster) and it conjuncted Pluto itself; together Mars and Pluto were also in opposition to Saturn in Gemini the ruler of twins; both Sagittarius and Gemini rule travel -- Sagittarius long distance and Gemini local trips. So, we get twin towers in a moving disaster. We also got a small replay of this when the two black (Saturn) snipers shot up the city in the States from their moving car. Gemini also has a flavour of twin homos which was suggested when the two were revealed to be an older black closely directing the younger one.
My prediction at the time said not only travel disaster but also a business disaster when nothing super significant had yet happened but with Mars still in 'orb' with the GC but now in early Capricorn would also indicate a business disaster which is what I called for orally after having predicted transportation disaster within 30 days of Aug. 20, 2001. Other air rage incidents did happen then too but they were entirely overshadowed by the 911 day. Because the Galactic Centre was still in orb with Mars the whole world would know of this event.
Anyway, in 2012 we will have Pluto in early Capricorn a cardinal sign. So, we'll have major business disaster requiring what we perceive as the business world having to be rebuilt as its methods and direction will be worn out as we will view it.. Also, with the planet Uranus, ruler of earthquakes in square aspect to Pluto (square is the worst aspect between planets) from Aries, a cardinal sign unlike the relatively light weight mutable signs of Sagittarius and Gemini -- we can expect to see the business world get shook up in major proportions.
This square aspect transit will be in place for a few years at its worst. Some of this square aspect influence will begin now as these two planets begin this process as they are in the two signs Sagittarius and Pisces in square to each other. Certainly, the stock markets are not showing any advancement in North America for the last five years of a market flatline. North American eastern seaboard is recognized in astrology as the centre of business. European imperialism is recognized as the Aries location from where empires were launched around the world. Aries, among many definitions is looked upon at the pioneering door-to-door salesman, warrior, etc. So, we'd look perhaps for European Aries containing Uranus squaring American Capricorn (containing Pluto).
A further refinement on this might suggest a mode of 'new' business opposing 'old' business. Europeans would be in the mood for new business and growth, getting the jump on the 'old' U.S. world which would be caught napping and in a state of disintegration needing extremely costly rebuilding from the ground up. — Toronto Astrologer/VPF
So, we keep coming back to earthquakes on a geographical level as well as business. The last astronauts -- if they really did go to the Moon -- were all born during the time of Uranus the ruler of space travel passed through the sign Aries (7 year transit). So, I would suggest something to do with space or even a space war could be possible.
I predicted 911 back in August 20, 2001. It was based on observing plane crashes for times when the Moon was in earth sign Virgo in square to Pluto in Sagittarius the sign of long distance travel. The Sun itself, on 911 was in square to both Pluto in Sagittarius and in square to Saturn in Gemini sign of short distance travel.
So, you ask about tourism. Certainly, as I said above, with Pluto (planet of transformation, death) still in Sagittarius the sign of long distance travel for a couple more years could see further challenges to the aircraft industry -- certainly we've seen the 50 year old U.S. airline companies go under during Pluto's passage through Sagittarius. We've also seen subways (Pluto rules underground subways) get rebuilt, extended and also be the source of record deaths during its reign.
We also saw ferries go down with record numbers of deaths both individually and also the overall annual death rates.
For myself I have come to the conclusion that people (immigrants?) should not move from one country to the other at all. That technology can overcome economic hardships for everyone as we enter the true internet age.
So, people won't need tourism -- it can be replaced by the internet -- by necessity -- due to the New World Order running terrorism in our skies -- the New World Order in actuality being one of the 'old' businesses that will get knocked out during this time -- the internet increasing awareness of them and what life is like in other countries.
